Meet a Pop Up Chapel couple - Kristin & Sam

Kristin, a writer and photographer on the shy side, and Sam, a heavily involved and outspoken student leader, met in college.They were complete opposites who shared one great passion: Harry Potter. Nightly conversations about the then-yet-to-be-released seventh book quickly turned into much more. In 2008, shortly after Sam’s college graduation, Kristin offhandedly proposed to her in their apartment, but Sam thought she was joking around, so she began to yell about how it wasn’t something one jokes around about. Kristin, almost brought to tears when she couldn’t get a word in edgewise, had to pull out the ring for proof, and Sam loved it. When she realized that Kristin was serious, she became ecstatic, apologized, and said yes with a huge smile. Now, years later, the couple eagerly awaits the opportunity to get married in their home state with friends and family by their side.
